How it works
The main purposes of the program are to process user tasks (queries), assign tasks to employees, maintain history, capture information about each task, designate executive employees, and track response times and execution deadlines.
When any task changes, the system automatically sends e-mail notification both to the task author and to the key managers of your company. In fact,,authors don't need to visit their personal desktops to track task execution, as all necessary information is delivered to them by e-mail.
IPI.MANAGER™ consists of three parts

External part residing on your web site and destined for your customers;

Internal administrative system used by your employees;

Mail system for communication with customers and employees.

The external part is a «Personal Desktop» for your customer where he or she can register when first accessing the system by choosing a login and a password. Then the customer can use his or her «Personal Desktop» to:
- post new queries;
- track execution of earlier queries;
- view replies from your employees.
When customers enter their «Personal Desktop» and browse the web site, they do not leave its pages. Design of the program can have the same look and feel as your site, so customers will not be able to distinguish between IPI.MANAGER™ and the other pages of your web office.
If you are only going to use IPI.MANAGER™ to allocate tasks among employees within your company, the external part is not applied.

The internal part is a large-scale software system designed to be used by your employees in their day-to-day activities, residing on your web site or on a corporate server.
The internal management system allows you to:
- reply to the tasks/queries from your customers or other employees;
- change task status to «In Progress»;
- view your own and others' tasks;
- track queries executed by your employees;
- supervise deadlines and response times;
- categorize tasks based on various criteria;
- search and filter tasks;
- maintain FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions);
- manage user credentials;
- manage the system as a whole;
- and much more

Every task change, status switch or executive reassignment, as well as the query/reply body itself, is delivered by e-mail to the customer, employees, supervisors, managers, or departments.
The system allows flexible customization, such as the following:
- top administration receives only copies of urgent queries;
- the customer receives e-mails only if you have replied to him or her;
- the project manager receives all task status changes made by other users.
With e-mail notifications, the user is not required to be permanently logged in to the program and is able to receive urgent information and task notifications easily and quickly. For the customer, e-mail notifications about the progress of a query are the main confirmation that a query submitted is actively being handled.

In addition to processing customer queries, IPI.MANAGER™ may be efficiently used to assign tasks among the employees within your company.
The manager can assign task to his subordinates; employees can send questions to their managers; tasks may be arranged in chains, with a new task starting only after the previous one has been completed; you can also set a deadline for executing a task and its importance for your company, and use many other valuable features.
IPI.MANAGER™ may be turned into a unified center incorporating all customer queries, manager tasks, current projects, and personnel instructions. Your employees will then work with a single information center replacing the variety of programs they may now be using in your office.
